The Team: Zaptana is a boutique R&D engineering firm driven by a passion for solving complex technical challenges. Led by a principal engineer with nearly 30 years of multidisciplinary experience, we deliver cutting-edge solutions in robotics, mechatronics, embedded edge systems, and AI implementation. We leverage a vast network of engineering talent to scale specifically for your project needs.

The Facility: Speed is critical in R&D. Zaptana operates a comprehensive in-house laboratory designed for rapid iteration. With an extensive inventory of hundreds of development boards, thousands of specialized components, and high-end test instrumentation, we eliminate common supply chain delays. Our facility is equipped for high-precision miniature assembly (PCB and mechanics) and fast prototyping, bridging the gap between digital design and physical reality immediately.

Anthropomorphic Robotic Hand

Analytical research and mechanical modeling for a 22-DoF robotic hand. Features include high-fidelity simulations, neural network control, and LLM integration for intuitive, human-like operation.

Multi-Cam Endoscopy Head

R&D for FDA-approved colonoscopy and gastroscopy devices. Developed a 5-camera system featuring hybrid PCBs, FPGA aggregation, and tissue-compatible 3D printed micro-structures.

Blicopter UAV
